University Corporate Services- PS Connect

This part-time post (0.4 FTE) is available immediately on a one year fixed term basis.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. The hours for this role, (14.6), would, ideally, be split across three working days.

The role

Supporting the University in its strategic ambitions, the recruitment team aim to attract the best talent globally ensuring a smooth candidate experience and robust selection process.

Our Recruitment function joined an exciting Shared Service Centre at the University in May 2023, called PS Connect. PS Connect was established as a new, integrated service. It initially brought together teams from HR, Finance and IT to transform and deliver professional services through a ‘one-stop shop’ with a focus on the user journey to: deliver cross-functional core services and support; ensure better service quality and satisfaction; maximise our use of technology; and provide continuous improvement and streamline processes.

As a recruitment administrator, in this 0.4 role, a large focus of your role will be assisting with the management of the recruitment inbox, answering queries and referring others on to the relevant person. You will also help manage our pre-employment checking process, and auditing processes. You may also be involved with the generation of employment contracts.

Team working is critical to the way our recruitment team operates. We are collaborative and respectful and seek to deliver our values on a daily basis. It is a fast paced environment but you will join a team of Recruitment Leads, Coordinators and Administrators who will train and guide you.

You

Attention to detail, strong customer service and administration skills are essential for this role. Ideally, you will have experience of working within a fast-paced environment, juggling priorities and working to deadlines.

Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.

Why our staff love working here

Flexible working opportunities
39-41 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
Actively inclusive organisation ensuring equality and fairness for all
Leading parental leave initiatives
Multiple wellbeing and health initiatives for staff
Sustainability and the environment being at the heart of what we do
Beautiful campus environment when working from either Exeter or Penryn
