Job Description

Duties:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows and Linux) and server software (Windows Server).
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
Deploy software packages and updates using SCCM.
Monitor and maintain network connectivity, including TCP/IP configuration and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles.
Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
Manage and maintain the company’s Zoom and other online meeting infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation for virtual events and meetings.
Oversee and maintain the company’s website, including handling booking requests, posting events, managing abstract submissions, and ensuring all related IT systems function seamlessly.
Work with website templates (such as WordPress) and user-defined customized websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Manage the backend systems of websites, including databases, email servers, and web hosts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Linux, and Windows Server.
Experience with Active Directory administration and user management.
Familiarity with SCCM for software deployment and updates.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Experience managing and troubleshooting online meeting platforms (Zoom or similar).
Experience managing website infrastructure, including booking systems and event management functionalities.
Proficiency in working with website templates (e.g., WordPress) as well as custom-built websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of backend systems such as databases, email servers, and web hosting environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,919.00 per year
